My Views
Set out below are seven principles that help clarify who I am as a Drummer:
- 1. As a Drummer I recognise Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and all my activities are aimed to be established in the Christian Faith and the Bible.
- 2. As a Drummer I seek to learn about the power and relevance of rhythm in our world and to remain in God's rhythm and purpose for my life.
- 3. As a Drummer I believe the ability to drum is a valuable gift; and I seek to grow in that gift with a responsible attitude.
- 4. As a Drummer I acknowledge drumming as a powerful tool for effecting change.
- 5. As a Drummer I play drums as a declaration of faith and to express my worship of Jesus Christ.
- 6. As a Drummer I use drumming to promote unity, good relationships, to bridge cultural divides and to communicate God's love to all peoples.
- 7. As a Drummer I aim to serve and encourage the Body of Christ (the Church).
- 8. As a Drummer I aim to march to the beat of a Different Drum.
